Hemel Garden Communities SPDs

HGC will be working on two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) during 2025. These documents will offer more detailed guidance on how developers should implement policies. 

The draft policies in the Dacorum and St Albans Local Plans highlight two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) for Hemel Garden Communities:

•  HGC Framework and Transformation Plan SPD (public consultation expected Autumn 2025)
• Stewardship & Placemaking SPD (public consultation expected Autumn 2025)
